"Test tube wolfy"

Films: Dire Wolf (2009)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area/Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The world of mutant werewolves is a small one, but nonetheless, just as savage and ferocious. And what better ingredient for your man-wolf nightmare than one of the deadliest canines to ever live?

History: Developed as a sort of advanced attack dog, this man-dire wolf hybrid didn't remain contained for long, and escaped into the American countryside. Now it stalks the woods looking for unwary victims to maul and eat. Only a few people can hope to stop its roaring rampage.

Notable Kills: Those maulings are rather graphic for something so low-budget.

Final Fate: The beast is eventually led back to the lab that made it. After being pacified by its "mother" of sorts (the woman who donated her eggs to the project), it is electrocuted to death.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though it can also be tamed by any it considers family.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Sure, it at first looks like some bargain-bin werewolf costume you'd find on a Halloween sale, but don't underestimate this beast. It is a savage monster capable of tearing you to shreds in ways that can only be slow and painful. Sometimes, it's best not to pet the dog.

Trivia: -Dire wolves are an extinct breed of canine, and were the largest of them all, as well as the one with the strongest bite force. The biggest collection of these poochy giants was found in the tar pits of La Brea.

-This film aired on the Syfy channel under the rather unfitting title, "Dino Wolf".

You end up with shoddy Insanity Wolf.
Wait. This was censored at some point.

A spray bottle would have worked fine.
Needless to say, details aren't spared.
